At BasePoint Psychiatry & Wellness, our Clinical Philosophy starts with an individualized consultation and customized treatment plan.
Dr. Strayhan, our Medical Director, has designed a program utilizing a multiple modality approach called Interventional Psychiatry. Interventional Psychiatry is truly an individualized approach to each patient’s specific needs. This includes assessment and diagnosis for medication management in conjunction with one of more other modalities, such as psychotherapy, with one of our licensed professional counselors, gene testing to determine the metabolizing functions of certain medications, and Spravato and/or Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for treatment resistant depression: which is a cutting edge modality also used by UT Southwestern in their own psychiatry program.
Our team’s research based approach ensures that our clients receive the latest innovations in the field of psychiatry and counseling. Our staff is dedicated to using the strength and minds of all of our staff to help our clients reach their individual goals.
We exchange ideas through staff meetings, and we process new techniques through monthly gatherings along with continually staying up to date with the latest industry trends. Our clinical efficacy also monitors success and constantly adapts to serve our clients in the best way possible.
BasePoint Psychiatry and Wellness works as a team to help give you the best possible outcome for your healing journey.
Servant Leadership Approach
At BasePoint Psychiatry, servant leadership is both a philosophy and a set of ongoing practices. Instead of one person holding the decision-making power, we believe in sharing power. Our team puts the needs of others first and helps people develop and perform to the best of their ability.
